TERMS & CONDITIONS – WRITTEN ON A SHIRT (WOAS)

1. Introduction
Welcome to Written On A Shirt (WOAS). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and any purchases made through www.writtenonashirt.com.au. By accessing this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, Sizing Disclaimer and Condition Ratings.

WOAS is an independent Australian label specialising in curated vintage, pre-loved and limited-release fashion designed for festivals, old-school style and small in-house collections.

2. Product Information, Condition & Sizing
Our collections include vintage, reworked and one-of-a-kind garments. Due to their age and history, some pieces may show light wear, small marks or subtle fading. These characteristics are not faults – they are part of each item’s uniqueness and will be accurately shown or described.

All product listings include detailed photography and transparent descriptions of condition, sizing and fit. Sizing may be taken from flat measurements, model references or comparisons to standard Australian sizing. For more details, please refer to our Sizing Disclaimer and Condition Ratings.

If you have questions about fit, condition or materials, please contact us before purchasing at customerservice@writtenonashirt.com.au.

By purchasing, you acknowledge that minor signs of wear are expected with vintage items and are not grounds for return.

3. Pricing & Availability
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Most WOAS items are one-of-a-kind or extremely limited. Availability is not guaranteed until checkout is complete. Items in your cart are not reserved until payment is finalised.

WOAS may update prices, descriptions or availability without prior notice.

4. Orders & Payment
By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. Full payment is required at checkout using approved methods including Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Afterpay and standard card payment.

WOAS may cancel or refuse an order if:
• the item is no longer available
• payment fails
• fraudulent activity is suspected

If an order is cancelled after payment, you will be notified and issued a full refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.

5. Shipping & Delivery
All orders are shipped from Sydney, Australia. Delivery estimates, costs and processing times are outlined in our Shipping Policy.

Once lodged with Australia Post, WOAS is not responsible for delays, loss or damage in transit. Tracking details will be provided. Please ensure all shipping details entered at checkout are correct, as we cannot replace or refund items sent to an address provided incorrectly by the customer.

6. Vintage & Pre-Loved Disclaimer
By purchasing from WOAS, you acknowledge that:
• most items are vintage, pre-loved or made from deadstock materials
• signs of age, fading or wear are normal characteristics
• colours may vary slightly between screens
• all items are sold as described at the time of purchase

If you prefer brand-new condition, our pre-loved collections may not be suitable.

7. Returns, Refunds & Tamper Tags
Due to the unique nature of our items, all sales are final unless an item is significantly misrepresented or your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) apply.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:
• change of mind
• sizing or fit issues
• minor imperfections consistent with vintage age

If you believe your item was misrepresented, contact customerservice@writtenonashirt.com.au within 48 hours of receiving your order, including clear photos and your order number.

Tamper Tags
To protect garment integrity and ensure transparency in the vintage resale process, some items will arrive with a single-use, tamper-evident WOAS tag attached.
• This tag confirms the condition of the item at dispatch.
• It cannot be reattached once removed.
• If a return is approved under ACL, the tag must remain fully attached.
• If the tag has been removed, cut or altered, the item is considered accepted and no return can be processed except where required by law.

Approved returns must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered and exactly as received.

8. Intellectual Property
All WOAS branding, designs, photographs and written content are the intellectual property of Written On A Shirt and protected under Australian copyright law. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without written permission.

9. Community Content
By tagging @writtenonashirt or using WOAS hashtags, you grant permission for WOAS to repost or adapt your content with credit. To request removal, email customerservice@writtenonashirt.com.au.

10. Privacy & Data
Your privacy is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines how personal information is collected, stored and used.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, WOAS is not liable for losses or damages arising from the use of our products or website. Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
